Returns Policy

Thanks for shopping at Erin Lightfoot Studio.

If there is a problem with your purchase, we are here to help.

 

EARRINGS REPAIRS AND REPLACEMENTS

If your earring is less than 2 years old and needs a repair (such as stud back attachment coming off). We will repair or replace the item for free and our studio will pay the shipping costs. 

If your earring is over 2 years old and needs a repair (such as re-gluing, replacement silver, touch up on the gold, we will repair for free however we ask that you pay the postage costs to and from the studio. Local drop off and pick up can be arranged if you are in Brisbane.

If you have dropped or lost an earring and need a single replacement, we do sell singles.

RETURNS FOR CERAMICS

As a small batch studio, we do not accept returns for change of mind. 

In the unlikely scenario that your item is faulty, please let us know and we will of course fix the problem. We will replace the item and ship the replacement for free. 

 

EXCHANGES FOR CERAMICS

If you want to exchange an item we can do this however postage costs for the return and replacement back to you will both be at your expense. Please post the item back to our studio within 7 days of receiving it and send us the shipping notification. If you are in Brisbane and are able to drop into the studio, no postage is necessary and we can arrange the exchange for free. 

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must:

  • be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
  • be in the original packaging

We will respond to your request within 1-2 business days.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGE FOR CLOTHING 

We want your garments to be perfect and we understand that buying online without the chance to try on means that you need to be able to return or exchange so we are here to make it easy as possible.

It is most important that any garment you wish to return is in its original condition which means unworn and free from makeup. Please try on your garment with care not to transfer any unintended makeup onto the garment as unfortunately items stained with makeup (usually foundation) are not eligible for return/exchange. This can easily be avoided with the use of a scarf or even a clean tea-towel placed on-top of your head just before placing the garment over your head to try-on. 

If you wish to return or exchange please:

  • email our studio within 2 days of receiving the garment and post back to us within 7 days. Email us the shipping notification. We recommend using express post with signature. In the un-likely scenario that your parcel is lost in the mail on its way back to us, you will not qualify for a refund.
  • as long as the garment is in "as new" condition, having not been worn, washed or marked, you will be eligible for a full refund or exchange. 

Once we have received your return back at our studio, we will inspect the garment and as long as it meets our "as new" requirement we will arrange exchange or refund. 

 

Returns are credited back via the original method of payment. You will receive the credit within 10 business days, depending on your card issuer's policies. 

If you need an exchange we will email you to arrange this.

 

SHIPPING POLICY FOR RETURNS AND EXCHANGES ON CLOTHING

Orders over $100 ship for free so all of our garments (excluding scarves) will qualify for free shipping. 

Shipping costs for sending your return/exchange back to our studio are at your (the customers) expense. 

Shipping costs for us to send you your exchanged item will be covered by our studio (so free again)!

 

 ARRANGING A RETURN OR EXCHANGE

  • contact us via email within 2 days of receiving your order.
  • post back to our studio within 5 days of receiving your parcel. We recommend using a traceable method such as registered or express post as in the unlikely scenario that your parcel is lost in the mail, it will not qualify for return or exchange.

  • once we have received your parcel, we will inspect the garment and as long as it is in "as new" condition, we will arrange your return or exchange.
