Story:
This design began with an illustration by my six year old daughter. Sometimes after school, she’ll come to the studio to draw (usually also watching TV). One day I found this little shell sketch on my desk and thought, “this could be an earring.” The Escargot Studs carry that spirit, a playful, clip-art-style motif elevated in porcelain and gold. She’s delighted by the idea and loves to remind me that they are her design.
The Escargot necklace brings a sense of play, crafted into a sophisticated form. The Trapeze Studs are architecturally inspired. Their grown up feel bring a nice balance to the playfulness of the necklace.
